This looks like a construction site, but is actually the ruins of something that is over a thousand years old.

I believe this is the base of the Acropolis taken from the top of the Amphitheater.

This is a buttressed wall in the Acropolis in Athens. On the top of the wall on the left hand side you can just see the ruins of the Parthenon.
Is it the town of Pompeii, Italy, at the base of Mount Vesuvius?
This is a section of the Parthenon Acropolis in Athens, Greece. The wall is the outter border of the Acropolis and these are the ruins of a house just outside of the wall.
