How has the economy affected your summer plans this year? For most of us, it’s meant pinching pennies in new and creative ways. I know that I’m trying to cut as many corners as I can so I can get on a couple of mini vacations this year. I find myself using the “water in the bottle” trick to get the most that I can with with soaps & sauces, keeping up on my car’s tire pressure and oil levels, and not eating out as much.  I still seem to be coming up a little short on where I need to be in lieu of saving money for a trip, so if anyone has any helpful hints, we will gladly post them under right here!
